One week. One honest look at where I am physically, mentally, emotionally, and in life. And a clear picture of where I'm going next.
Last year, when we moved from Prague to Doha, I made a decision to change direction. I didn't go back to personal training full time. Instead, I started exploring what it looks like to take my work 100% online and in the process, I stopped doing the very thing I tell other people to do.
The internal audit. The honest check-in. The clear-eyed look at whether you're still aligned with your true north and whether where you are actually matches where you said you wanted to be.
So this week I'm doing it. And maybe it's something you'd like to do as well.
I'll be going through each day in the Classroom and posting what comes up for me. Not because I have to because doing it publicly keeps me honest. If any of it resonates and you want to do it alongside me, you're welcome to. But there's no pressure. This week is mine first.
Real fitness isn't just physical. This week covers all four dimensions because they don't work in isolation.
Everything lives in the Classroom. Open it, read it, sit with it.
Where do I actually want to be in 12 months? Not the vague version the real, vivid, honest one. Before you can move, you need to know where you're going.
An honest snapshot of where I am right now. Private to me no need to share it with anyone. Just data I'll be grateful for when I look back in a year.
What's actually standing between where I am and where I want to be? Not motivation. The real thing. Today I name it then ask why three times until I reach the root.
Not a list. One thing the single change that, if I made it, would move everything else. I'm committing to it in writing and making it specific enough to actually do.
My environment votes on my behaviour before I do. Today I change one thing remove one friction, add one cue so the right choice is the easier one.
Nobody does this alone for long. Today I name the people in my corner the ones I check in with, learn from, and show up for. And I reach out to one of them.
Everything from this week becomes a repeatable rhythm. My three non-negotiables. My weekly review. The thing I'm doing first thing Monday morning. The foundation is set.
Every lesson is in the Classroom. Open it when it drops, work through it at your own pace. There's no group call, no check-in requirement, no pressure to share anything you're not comfortable with.
If something comes up that you want to talk about, post it in the community. I'll be there.
